DEPICTED THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Depression kicks in as the stress coming from the pressure becomes too heavy for the victim to bare as their thought of not being enough reigns over his/her mind. The effects of depression can vary from losing appetite to suicide; in worst cases. The word is quite common these days, as the victims of depression are also adding up. There are various causes of it though, majorly pressure. It starts from stressing out over and feel pressured to do or be something, though this is not only its cause since being hurt, disappointed and feeling deep sorrow also trigger depression. If exposed to stress or depression, everyone has different reaction towards the feeling, as some chose to speak up, hide or fake it.

The feeling is like being trapped in a room of glass, where you want to escape, and that others can see it, but they don't help. This is what is depicted in the photograph beside; to deliver message to the audience that this is the interpretation of how it feels to cope with such feeling. However, there's more to it. The intention of the photograph is to also share that there is a solution to this, and that the 'glass' surrounding the victim can be broken together from the inside and outside. As long as the victim along with his society make effort, he can break out of depression.

Therefore, there are solutions on escaping depression such as socializing and having a routine: having a planning on what activities to be engaged in, a balanced diet, until sleeping schedules. People who are facing depression tend to have a messy schedule, and mentally shut down to prevent themselves from getting 'hurt'. One's participation can improve his mood and you can talk out of depression. Simply by associating with new people, opening up or seeking help by going to certain therapies can help victims. Consequently, victims will be able to live up their dreams happily and stop viewing depression as something bringing them down. As long as one has a purpose in life, it will fuel their will to keep living and battle the challenges in life.
