EFFECT #1
PRODIGAL HABITS
DEPICTED THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY

Prodigal habits can start by prioritizing one’s wants over needs without concerning any financial condition as they purchase similar items as their peers; recklessly spending money. People with this habit usually spend even their last cent just for their satisfaction in purchasing things they wish for, like branded items or overpriced products which are highly valued by their peers. By doing so, they feel superior and satisfied though only temporarily. This is usually caused by people's effort to fit in or to measure up, as an act to feel better about themselves. It can get to a point where these brands and all the luxury define them, and they would be helpless without it.

Depicted into a photograph, it shows a hand of a person with these habits; already wearing various rings which represent where their money is spent on yet still trying to grasp their last cent because it doesn't feel 'enough'. The main intention of the photograph is to deliver the message to the audience that you don't have to spend all your money to be superior or simply fit in because others can accept you if you already accept yourself.

Therefore, the solution is only one, and it is absolute. You simply have to love yourself and care less. No matter how people judge, dislike, disapprove or whatever you call it, what you have to do is shut them down with your confidence of being yourself. However, don't mistake criticism, constructive comments and feedbacks for hate. Though they might harshly comment on you, as long as they give a resolution or feedback to you afterwards, consider it as a positive feedback. Brace yourself a little bit, it won't be easy but it forges you to be a resilient individual. Keep fighting and let's start positive thinking!
